It starts on a real California farm.
Bolero carries a rare grade called Sod Quality. It is the exact seed a California Delta sod farm grows its own emerald turf from. For years that grade went straight to the crews who lay sod for a living. Now it comes to your yard.

Good questions, straight answers
What does Sod Quality mean?
It is the grade of seed the sod farm holds for growing its own turf, the standard the farm plants for its own fields. For years that grade went to professional sod fields, not store shelves.
How much does one caddie cover?
The 3 lb caddie covers up to about 400 square feet, right for small yards and touch-ups. The 10 lb caddie covers up to about 1,200 square feet, enough to seed a full dream lawn. For bigger projects, the 25 lb grower bag covers up to about 3,000 square feet.
Does shipping cost extra?
No. Every order ships free from the farm. The price on the page is the price at the door.
When should I plant Bolero?
Bolero is a cool-season dwarf tall fescue bred for California. Fall is the prime window, while the soil still holds summer warmth. Spring works well too, once the days turn mild.
What is the Dream-Lawn system?
Three steps, in the same order the farm uses: prep the soil with Bolero™ Sod & Seed Starter, sow Bolero Plus™ seed, then feed with Bolero™ Lawn Food.
Who grows Bolero?
Bolero is grown by Delta Bluegrass Company in Stockton, California, and sold by Lawn Nation.
